WHAT: This engaging and thought provoking event teaches youth ages 10-18 progressive money practices. The Financial Teen Summit has lots of activities, discussions, and hands-on exercises that keep youth totally engaged. The entire event is FREE for teens and tweens including lunch, books, giveaways, and Free savings accounts from our bank partner Ameris Bank.
K4M, Ameris Bank, and local professionals are passionate and committed to the successful future of our youth. This team of experts will provide 3 presentations on:
- A MindSet of Wealth
- Financial Literacy/Banking
- Entrepreneurship
¨ Concluding with a Q & A Session
WHY: The purpose of the K4M & Ameris Bank Financial Teen Summit is to broaden the alternatives of teens and tweens for planning their financial future with confidence, while helping them avoid the devastating financial crisis they see adults experiencing today. We want to provide them a fresh financial perspective as they begin their financial journey.
Each year this event is held in libraries, youth organizations like Boys & Girls clubs, YM/WCAs, churches, community centers, and other venues. It is normally held during the summer months around the country, but its popularity demands its unique lessons at times throughout the school year.
